Alberta Market

Construction Boom

Calgary and Edmonton see strong residential and commercial construction. New subdivisions need lot grading, landscaping prep, and drainage work.

Oil & Gas Sector

Site prep, access roads, and reclamation work. Higher rates but may require additional safety certifications (H2S Alive, etc.).

Utility Locate Note

Shaw/Rogers NOT covered by Utility Safety Partners — contact digshaw.ca separately before excavation.

Seasonal Considerations

Grading season typically April–October depending on frost. Many operators combine with snow removal for year-round revenue.
