BC Market Considerations

Lower Mainland

Sporadic snow creates emergency demand. When it snows, rates spike and everyone calls at once. Hard to build consistent revenue from snow alone — diversify into other services.

Interior BC (Kelowna, Kamloops)

More consistent winter snow. Competition with established operators. Strong commercial demand from wineries, resorts, and industrial sites.

Northern BC

Heavy, consistent snow from November to March. Less competition. Industrial and municipal contracts available. Longer travel distances between jobs.

Equipment Notes

CTLs preferred for sloped terrain common in BC. Tire chains required for many sites. Consider heated cab for northern operations.
